2024 Music in the Meadow Series

June 15, July 13, August 17, September 14

This summer we are hosting a stellar lineup as part of our Music in the Meadow series. There will be a little something for everyone: rock, soul, folk, Puerto Rican/Caribbean roots, and the music of the Grateful Dead. All events will take place from 6-9 PM. We’ll have Food Trucks on hand and our Barn Bar will be open. Ticket sales begin on Friday, March 15, 2024 and are available by visiting the below links. We can’t wait to welcome you to summer on the farm!

About the Performers
Kicking things off on June 15, is Clare Maloney & The Great Adventure. Clare is a classically trained opera singer turned rock and roll powerhouse. Clare and the band are bringing the era of windows-down, roadtrip rock & roll straight into the playlist generation. Relix magazine named the band an "Artist You Need to Know" in 2023, calling their debut LP 'Daybreaker' “stunning” and praising its “brilliant vocals, rocking band and polished songwriting." Their "Daybreaker" tour included over 60 shows across the Northeast, New England and the Midwest, including a handful of very special shows supporting Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Wailers and Bailen, with sit-ins from members of Goose.

On July 13, local legend Drew Angus (and his full band) will be taking the stage to soothe us with his soul-stirring vocal talents. With indelible hooks, savvy craftsmanship, and relatable lyrics, he resonates with audiences and fellow performers alike. Drew found his love for music growing up in a house filled with the sounds of artists like Tom Petty, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. He's influenced by these classic rock sounds mixed with artists of today like Ben Rector, The Lone Bellow, and John Mayer. Drew's music is heartfelt, nostalgic, clever, and catchy, with vocal fireworks and harmonies that will give you the shivers. He describes it as the intersection of Americana and Rock 'n Roll with a little bit of Funk and Retro Soul. Drew has shared stages with Stevie Nicks, Noah Kahan, Zach Bryan, Harry Styles, Nile Rogers (on SNL), Pat Benatar, Ann Willson of Heart, and Andrea Bocelli (on Live with Kelly & Ryan) and has toured with Marc Broussard. Opening support for the evening will be provided by Boston-based Jake Swamp & The Pine a four-time Boston Music Awards nominee in the category of Americana Act of the Year, as well as the New England Music Awards Americana Act of the Year.

On August 17, we’re thrilled to present a longtime stalwart of the Fairfield County music scene Cosmic Jibaros. Based in Bridgeport, and founded more than 20 years ago, Cosmic Jibaros are known for their electrifying performances blending rock, Puerto Rican roots, Caribbean beats, and global elements. Led by Rick Reyes, their music resonates with cross-cultural audiences. The band's name reflects the fusion of traditional Jibaro heritage—a term referring to the rural, mountain-dwelling people of Puerto Rico—with a modern, cosmic twist, embodying the evolving Latino experience in the United States. This fiery blend of roots and rock & roll has graced stages small and large and will have you moving all night long.

And finally, and without the need for introduction, on September 14 we’ll close our season once again with the Stella Blue’s Band; returning to the farm for the fifth consecutive year to bestow upon us their incomparable and faithful renditions of classic Grateful Dead music.
